Greetings!
It's time to register for Easter art & craft camps at the Anna Templeton Centre! We've got cartooning, drama, sewing, drawing & painting and arts & crafts camps for ages five to sixteen. Camps are either half-day or full-day, and are taught by experienced arts professionals, chosen for their knowledge, skill and enthusiasm. Register your child by March 21 and SAVE 10% on fees! EASTER CAMPS
Junior Art & Craft Camp (5-6 years)
Monday-Friday, 9 am - 12 noon
It's an opportunity for budding artists to work with paint, collage, print making, drawing materials, and more. Basic art concepts, terms, and techniques are introduced and built upon. Classes include group and individual instruction to encourage participants to be creative and explore new ideas.

Cartooning Camp (10 & up)
Monday-Friday, 1 - 4 pm
Local cartoonist Wallace Ryan will teach kids the skills of pencilling, inking and lettering as they develop their drawing skills while working on original characters and story lines, and on Friday afternoon, there will be a field trip to Downtown Comics.

Art & Craft Camp (7-11 years)
Monday- Friday, 9 am - 4 pm
Kids enjoy a variety of craft and art activities to make some very cool projects. There will be drawing, painting, print making, collage, sculpture and more; it's sure to be lots of fun! Outings to nearby galleries and parks may be incorporated, weather permitting.
Participants may enrol for full days or half days (mornings 9-12 noon / afternoons 1-4 pm). This camp may also be combined with another half day camp to make a full day of activity for the week of Easter break.

Drama Camp: Play Building (8-13 years)
Monday-Friday, 9 am - 4 pm
Kids will develop skills in performing arts and "build a play" with local actor/theatre instructor Greg King. Students will learn acting skills, character building, and plot development as the week's activities centre around the creation/building of an original play. It will also be a lot of fun with theatre games and exercises to practice and develop performance skills. On Friday afternoon family and friends are invited to come and see a studio performance of the group's very own play.

Sewing: An Introduction (9 & up)
Monday-Friday, 9 am - 12 noon
A camp for kids to learn sewing skills. Participants will learn about sewing machine set up, parts and accessories; and learn how to cut patterns, sew straight and curved seams, as they follow a simple pattern and complete a great pair of pajama pants. No previous experience necessary. Supplies and sewing machines are provided. You may also bring your own sewing machine from home.

Pin, Cut & Stitch (9 & up)
Monday-Friday, 1 - 4 pm
An intermediate level sewing class for young sewers to develop and advance their skills. Participants will challenge their basic skills as they learn to sew a garment and/or accessories. Supplies and sewing machines are provided but you may also bring your own sewing machine from home. All participants must have already completed at least one sewing class/camp.

Drawing & Painting (12-16 years)
Monday-Friday, 1 - 4 pm
An opportunity for budding artists to really use their imaginations as they explore a variety of mark making tools, create compositions, mix colours and combine more than one medium. Participants will be challenged at their own level of experience. No experience necessary, and all levels of experience are welcome.
