This class is designed for those who would like to dye their own fabric and yardage. You will learn the safety precautions used in the dye studio, how to mix and prepare Procion dyes, and how to set the colours into the fabric. Instructor Gina-Rae Hoyles will show you several techniques to achieve different affects, and give you ample time to practice and experiment. This class is perfect for quilters and textile artists who are looking for unique fabrics. Once completing this course, you will have the knowledge and skills to dye fabric on your own. All dyes, fabric for samples, and one yard of fabric is included in the cost.
