Bio
Leslie Vryenhoek is a writer, editor and communications professional based in St. John's. Her poetry, fiction and non-fiction have been published in literary journals, newspapers and magazines across Canada and internationally, and broadcast on CBC radio. Her writing has garnered awards, including the 2003 Dalton Camp Award for essays in media and democracy, and the 2007 Eden Mills Literary Competition.
She is currently working on a poetry collection that explores the political and personal, tender and savage meanings of home.
A collection of short stories will be published in Fall, 2009 by Oolichan Books.
