Vanessa Mary Wade
Bio
Vanessa Wade is a visual artist and occasional poet lving and working in St.John's, NL. A screenprinter by trade, Vanessa currently works full time as the printer at Lincoln Promotions and Apparel, a division of Max Arts Athletics and Wellness. Her creative mediums include painting with acrylic, watercolours, and makeup(yes makeup!), collage, writing, and print. Currently she is re-emerging for a two year hiatus from the local arts scene.
Vanessa is a graduate of the Textile Studies Program offered by the College of the North Atlantic at the Anna Templeton Centre, where she majored in Print and Dye and Weavery. She studied for 11 months under local artist Elayne Greeley in the Community Youth Arts Program,a government funded arts employment and education program offered by The Murphy Centre and located at Harbourside Studio.
Vanessa is currently designing screenprint images for her own line of t-shirts and other items as well as working on new pieces of art. Her screenprint services are available for custom orders.
