    Accredited professional freelance writer with over 15 years experience;

    Demonstrated success as a freelance copywriter, editor and communications professional working with public, private and not-for-profit clients;

    Experienced researcher in such fields as sustainability, waste management, cultural and natural heritage;

    Recipient of several research and writing awards (e.g. 2006 Fellowship, Metcalf Institute for Marine & Environmental Reporting - Science Immersion Workshop (University of Rhode Island) – the only Canadian journalist to be selected in 2006).

    Author of several published short stories and poems published in literary journals;

    Currently working a non-fiction book and a collection of poems.
